Vega is a construction technology and component based manufacturing company, focused on building multi-family residences such as apartment buildings, townhouses, and row-houses using its patent pending Building System.
The inventor of VEGA’s Building System, David Cohen, is part of a family of builders that have developed a reputation for construction excellence and technical innovation over six decades. The Cohens built many of the skyscrapers that comprise the Denver skyline, as well as preeminent real estate landmarks such as the Inn at Spanish Bay in Pebble Beach. They are winners of the highly coveted Build America Award for the slip-formed, 54 story Quest Building, voted the best executed and most innovative construction project in the United States.
WHOLE HOUSE BUILDING
As CEO of CBH, David Cohen invented and patented the Whole-House Building System, which inspired the entirely new and patent pending Vega Building System. In the Whole House building system, entire, finished, single-family homes are built on a self-contained production line proximate to the development site and transported using a robotics-controlled system to the lot, where the house is placed on its foundation. National Geographic produced a documentary called the “Future of Homebuilding” that extensively profiled this System.
